together all types of single-piece “letter” mail –
metered, stamped, and indicia, both Standard and Non-profit –
into a single zip string.
Automated mail sorting using powerful barcode
equipment allows us to assemble mail “bins” of mailing
pieces that together qualify for considerably lower 5-digit postage
rates.
Our equipment also allows us to sort mail
to over 10,000 single zip codes compared to fewer than 2,000 for

Your mail is then trucked directly to all
29 of the USPS’s Bulk Mail Centers (BMC's) and over 200 Sectional
Center Facilities (SCF’s) nationwide in order to gain destination
delivery.

“by appointment” to the final BMC or SCF where mail
is immediately unloaded and entered into the mail stream. In fact,
over 70% of your mail will go directly to the final SCF for sorting
and delivery directly to the delivering post office.

Although most mailers update their lists periodically
using the USPS National Change of Address (NCOA) Service we nonetheless
find that by the time we receive their files, 5% or more of the
names on the list have moved. The fact that 14% of Americans move
every year makes it a daunting task to reach them all.
However, by allowing us to update your file
at the time of mailing using the USPS’s latest database of
corrected names and addresses, which we receive weekly, we can ensure
that more of your mail reaches the correct address.
As you know, mail sent at the Standard
Rate, (3rd Class) is discarded if not deliverable as addressed.
Just consider how much you’d lose if 7% of your mailing ended
up in the Post Office’s trash cans instead.
